  This review is about the practice, Dermatology Specialists of Florida more so than the Doctor. My wife received a bill 4 months old covering her visit with Dr Stickler and had an out of network charge related to the nurse practitioner, PA being out of network whereas the Dr was in network. When she called to inquire about this, the business office stated that it was the patients responsibility to verify that every nurse and Dr. is in network and credentialed that treats you not them. You make an appointment with the doctor not the PA, the practice chose to substitute and didn't ask. Besides that they charged you two rates for a simple freeze procedure because one spot is on your back and another your neck. And to insult you more, make you have two appointments for it too. The DR. is good but the business office/billing personnel weren't easy to work with. Follow Up: On 3/21 Dr Stickler called and apologized to my wife profusely about this issue reported in this review! He really cares and explained that it should never be the patients job to make sure every person sent in to treat you is on the insurance plan. He had wanted to resolve the issue and as a result the CEO called. The CEO called and offered to work with the insurance company for us, but the problem wasn't with the insurance it was with their billing office and those responsible in billing to work out a solution with the patient that is rational and above all "right". She did offer to credit or refund the out of network charge which she did. My wife is going to continue to use Dr Stickler as she calls him, gentle and caring. He also took great concern that his good name is effected by a poor review of Dermatology Assoc. due to a mis-step or bad day by an employee in the billing group, which it was. The Dr and CEO made amends and everyone is fine now, lets see where it goes from here with Dermatology Specialists of Florida. Olive branches are extended both ways it appears.

  I've been to another clinic where they gave me treatment after treatment for my acne without improvement, so I gave Aqua Medical Spa a try. Right after my second session I started to notice results! I also noticed that my dermatologist took more time for my sessions compared to my old clinic. Right now I'm very happy with them and would definitely recommend them to my friends.
